A census of warblers at Hackney Marshes yesterday morning included eight singing
Reed Warblers, two
Sedge Warblers, four
Blackcaps and three
Chiffchaffs. A pair of
Reed Buntings was seen gathering nest material. Later an hours' stroll along The Lea between Bishopsteignton and Teignmouth produced four
House Martins, two
Swifts, three
Skylarks, four
Buzzards and a pair of
Sparrowhawks.
